We totally get allergies. Unfortunately both our children have serious complimentary allergies to eggs, nuts and milk. We carry an epipen all the time. Regrettably, many Chinese restaurants would literally turn us away rather than ask the kitchen what they were able to eat (which was actually another motivator for us to start sourcing dim sum for our own family).
Though we ensure to label any active allergens that are used as an ingredient for our various dumplings, we cannot guarantee if there has not been any cross contamination from our producer's side, as their kitchens handle eggs, nuts, dairy, wheat and soy.
